A NEW AGE
Written by Angmar

Acclaiming His victory over His age-long enemies, the descendants of the Sea-kings, Sauron the Great proclaimed that March 25, 3020, marked the beginning of a new age, the Age of Sauron, Lord of Men and Master of Middle Earth. The next March would herald that the first year of the reign had been completed, but since the new Temple had already been completed and lay waiting, the new age would be celebrated on Ring Day, March 25th, 3020. Sauron was elated and joyful when he reflected upon His triumph. His revenge had been extracted, only partly, though it might be, for Aragorn had not perished in the wars of last year and was still guided by his accursed mentor, Gandalf! Sauron would not dwell upon that unpleasantly for long, however, for He was far too jubilant to linger upon unsavory matters.

"A new age has come upon Middle-earth," Gorthaur reflected as He sat upon His throne in Lugbûrz. "There will be a new Order, a new Design, a Symmetry and Great Purpose. Middle Earth shall at last be ruled with Order and Discipline," and Sauron smiled. He would be the one to wield it.

Let the Age of Sauron begin!
